A bit about us

Ukiyo Home is a tribute to well-designed products from Japan & a celebration of the craftsmen and women behind them. Our goal is to introduce the world to the Japanese design that we've grown to know & love.

Each curated object is designed passionately and created with high precision, often times in multi-generation old workshops. We've focused on objects that bring style, utility, and joy to our lives. 

We are based in Chicago, but have used this project to collaborate closer with a few friends in NYC, Singapore, & Tokyo. Thank you to you all!
